🏗️ Morning Brief — March 20, 2026

Date: March 20, 2026 Focus: DailyReportr+ Inspectr+ Buildr+

Idea 1: Photo Comments for DailyReportr+

The problem

Inspectors snap photos of work, but context gets lost when photo and discussion happen in separate channels. Teams chase context across Slack, email, and the app itself.

The feature

Let teams comment directly on photos with @mentions—pull the full thread into the daily report. When you review the day's report, you see not just the photos, but the rich discussion that surrounded them.

Implementation

Wire Supabase Realtime for live comment threads on CloudStorage image records. Store comments in a `photo_comments` table (photo_id, user_id, text, created_at) and render them in a sheet that slides up from each photo card.

Idea 2: Quick Reference Card for Inspectr+

The problem

PMs often check the same spec sections repeatedly during inspections—digging through the full spec book wastes time and breaks focus in the field.

The feature

Let inspectors pin 3–5 spec pages or sections as a "quick ref"—swipe through them like a deck mid-inspection without navigating back to the full spec viewer. Save this per-inspector so each team member has their own favorites.

Implementation

Add a Favorites list to the spec viewer. Store as inspector preferences in Supabase (json array of page numbers or section IDs). Add a small star icon to each spec page; tapping it toggles the favorite state. Show a "Quick Ref" tab before the full spec.

Idea 3: Buildr+ In-App Review Links (App Store Launch Moment)

The opportunity

Buildr+ is hitting the App Store soon. This is the moment to drive reviews and cross-promote your other apps to new users who start with Buildr+.

The feature

Add contextual "rate this feature" prompts at high-engagement moments (e.g., after successfully submitting an RFI, approving a change order, or completing a submittal). Include a premium upsell modal that mentions your companion apps—Inspectr+ for QA and DailyReportr+ for daily site reports.

Implementation

Use RevenueCat to manage review request logic. Trigger an AlertDialog after key workflow completions. Link to App Store review page and offer in-app upsell cards for other apps using the same RevenueCat entitlements.

🔗 Strategic angle

With Closr+ now tracking O&M manuals at closeout, and Buildr+ entering the market, your ecosystem is solidifying. DailyReportr+ and Inspectr+ are your anchors—they own the mid-project workflow. Use Buildr+'s launch to funnnel users into the full pipeline.
